About This Opportunity:

The Life-Assist Product Specialist operates as part of the Products Team and is responsible for researching new and alternative products based on trends and customer demand.  Additional tasks include participating in various product related committee meetings to offer insight and expertise, meeting with vendors and interacting with customers.

The Product Specialist may also provide product training to the Life Assist staff and work with the Marketing team on website content management.

What You Get to Do:

• Using various resources, regularly research new and/or replacement products to meet demand, including industry trends.
• Assist the Bids and Contracts department in researching product items and pricing.
• Participate in Products meetings as applicable, taking notes and follows up on any topics or issues in between meetings.
• Assist with product training for inside staff, including creation of reference and comparison documents
• Participate in vendor meetings when requested; Interact with vendors via email and phone to obtain product information.
• Support and partner with Marketing team to ensure website content is up to date and correct.

Who Are You?

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• EMT experience required, paramedic preferred. 
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Great attitude with motivation and drive
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Software Suite.
