POSITION: Capital Markets Intern


LOCATION: Ridgeland, MS


SALARY: $15 per hour


DURATION: 8 weeks

POSITION DESCRIPTION:


Full-time intern position beginning June 2nd and ending on July 25th.This temporary position is not eligible for benefits.



JOB SCOPE:


Interns will learn the components of the lending process, from meeting the customer and taking the application, through credit analysis and decision, and loan closing. The intern will learn the operational and financial reporting aspects while working alongside administrative personnel. This internship will provide you the opportunity to build a foundation for professional growth with hands on experience.


EDUCATION and SKILL REQUIREMENTS:


This position is available for sophomore or junior under-graduates pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be proficient Microsoft Office products, ability to establish priorities, and possess analytical and organizational skills.


WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:


Frequent interaction with relationship managers, credit officers, departmental staff, and management. Occasional interaction with CEO.
