Job Summary

The Tool & Model Maker will be based in Buffalo Grove.

What a typical day looks like

• Comply with the tool shop standards


• Understand how draw stone


• Understand how to diamond the molding area (A-2, A-3)


• Understand how to tape and glass bead the molding surfaces


• Understand how to look at the drawings for the molding surfaces


• Responsible for the quality of work; Maintain ongoing inspection for work piece

The experience we are looking for

• Typically requires a minimum of an Associate’s Degree, military technical training or equivalent experience and training. In addition, typically requires 1 year related experience.


• 5 years minimum experience in mold manufacturing required.

Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois)

$25.24 USD - $34.71 USD Hourly
