We are looking for a Director of Human Resources who will balance the wellbeing of Apollo MedFlight with the wellbeing of our employees. You will play a pivotal role in driving Apollo’s growth by managing and enhancing our human resources functions.  You will collaborate with the Chief Operations Officer and senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies, policies and programs that support our business objectives. We are looking for a Director of Human Resources who can not only see things as they are but also what they could be.


A day in the life:



  • Execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.

  • Oversee all aspects of the employee life cycle, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.

  • Support all employees throughout their tenure.

  • Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.

  • Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote a diverse workforce.

  • Manage compensation and benefit programs to attract and retain top talent.

  • Resolve employee relations issues and provide guidance to employees and managers.

  • In conjunction with other leaders, ensure that HR policies and procedures are updated and maintained.

  • Participate in continuous HR improvement initiatives and metrics.

  • Utilize your strong customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

  • Ensure implementation and utilization of policies, procedures, programs dealing with the specific activities of staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee development and training.

  • Establish and maintain effective and credible relations with both management and employees.
