Heavy Equipment Auto Detailer at Ground Force in Post Falls, Idaho

Job Description:

Ground Force Worldwide has an amazing opportunity for a skilled Detailer. The Equipment Detailer is responsible for cleaning, polishing, and paint touch up for both the interior and exterior of Ground Force equipment. This involves a range of tasks, from basic washing to more intricate detailing procedures. The work is to ensure that trucks are visually appealing and well-maintained for the customers.  Starting Wage $20-$23/hour depending on experience.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Exterior Cleaning:


    • Washing and drying the truck's exterior, including the cab, and body.

    • Removing dirt, grime, road salt, and other contaminants.

    • Polishing and waxing the paint to enhance its shine and protect it from the elements.

    • Cleaning and polishing wheels and tires.

    • Cleaning exterior windows and mirrors.

    • Pressure washing.





  • Interior Cleaning:


    • Vacuuming carpets and upholstery.

    • Cleaning and conditioning leather or vinyl surfaces.

    • Wiping down dashboards, door panels, and other interior surfaces.

    • Cleaning interior windows.

    • Deodorizing the interior.





  • Specialized Detailing:


    • Paint correction and scratch removal.

    • Applying protective coatings.

    • Detailing of specialized truck components.





  • Other Duties:


    • Inspecting trucks for any damage or defects.

    • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

    • Using and maintaining detailing equipment and supplies.

    • Following safety procedures.

    • Inventory control of supplies.

    • Any other tasks requested by Supervisor/Manager.



Position Requirements


  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)

  • One (1) or more years practical experience in automotive detailing or a related field.

  • Detail Oriented

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Must be safety conscious

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
