Salary: $165,000.00 USD Annually - $170,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client, a top food manufacturer, is currently seeking a Sr Mgr, Sales & Marketing - Pet Food Concentrate


Working on an exciting new Sr. Manager, Sales and Marketing/Pet Food role for them! Can be based remotely if near a strong airport to fly into DC/MD/VA area. MUST HAVE YEARS OF PET FOOD OR PET INGREDIENTS EXPERIENCE! Manage the development and implementation of key new business development and new category innovation to identify opportunities to drive new


business, new markets, and new category innovation within the Pet Food


arena.


Develop Sales & Marketing objectives, strategies and tactics to drive


profitable growth.


Gather and analyze market research data to gain market insight and evaluate business strategies.


Manage sales execution of account plans to achieve volume objectives and key sales priorities (distribution, pricing, shelving and merchandising).


Provide strategic input, reflecting marketplace and customer requirements into the AOP/sales plans and marketing plans process. The input should focus on trade marketing strategy/tactics and result in a final plan that can be executed with customers to achieve company objectives.


Establish local market priorities, objectives and strategies to guide development of market/account plans that deliver objectives within defined Corporate/Brand strategies.


Evaluate and manage pricing strategies and support business forecast

Requirements:


7-10 years of overall professional experience in Sales and Marketing


Work with cross-functional teams (including parent company and plants) on new products, projects and


marketing initiatives to support the business growth. Partner with


Procurement, Marketing, Sales and R&D.


Bachelor's degree; Pet Food Experience Required


Broad knowledge and experience in CPG Sales and Marketing


30 - 35% travel domestic and international
