Description: Our top financial client is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager



Title - Technical Project Manager



Location- Austin, TX (3x per week)



Duration- 12 Months




Job Summary/Description:



Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the project lifecycle, from initiation to deployment, ensuring timely and successful execution.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, driving continuous improvement and team collaboration.
• Coordinate with software developers, engineers, product managers, and business analysts to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and financial industry standards.
• Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to leadership and stakeholders effectively.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within project teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical project management within software development or IT environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex, large-scale technology projects in a financial services setting.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
• Experience with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and digital transformation projects is a plus.
• PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification preferred
