Job Description:

Location: REMOTE

Salary: $45.00 USD Hourly - $50.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Copy Editor


Responsibilities:

• Write, copy edit, and proof content for product pages with a strong background in digital content creation.


• Manage the flow of product page copy from development to delivery in a fast-paced environment.


• Review and provide feedback on vendor-generated copy assignments.


• Conduct quality control checks of human and AI-generated content.


• Copy edit and proofread for accuracy, clarity, grammar, inclusivity, logic, and consistency.


• Generate captivating product page titles.


• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision and attention to detail.


• Utilize content management systems for large-volume workflows.


• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

Requirements & Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in product copy editing, preferably in hospitality, travel, e-commerce, or a related industry.


• Proven track record in a fast-paced editorial environment.


• Highly agile mindset; ability to stay organized in rapidly changing environments.


• Strong grasp of English language, grammar, spelling, usage, punctuation, and styles (AP Style preferred).


• Excellent copyediting and proofreading abilities with strong project management skills.


• Experience with large-scale copy operations and workflows.


• Ability to work under constant deadlines, copyediting and proofreading accurately and quickly.


• Proficient in Google Suite applications; Salesforce and Airtable are a plus.


• Positive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for creating welcoming experiences for a global audience.
