We are seeking an experienced Cold Storage Superintendent to join a distinguished commercial general contractor. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience as a superintendent, with a strong background in cold storage projects, preferably on high-rise buildings. This role requires extensive travel throughout the U.S. and a proven track record in commercial general contracting.


Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of cold storage construction projects from inception to completion.


• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.


• Maintain a safe and secure work environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures.


• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.


• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.


• Prepare and submit project reports, schedules, and budgets.


• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a superintendent in the construction industry.


• Extensive experience with cold storage projects, preferably on high-rise buildings.


• Proven experience with commercial general contracting.


• Ability to travel extensively throughout the U.S.


• Strong leadership and management skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Proficient in project management software and tools.


• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
