Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $70,500.00 - $107,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to provide the overall training strategy for both on-boarding and ongoing training to help reduce turnover, retain good talent and increase efficiency of the staff. The training program will ensure predictability, scalability and quality in the development of our employee resources.
Essential Functions
Develop and execute more complex department training programs with collaboration from management and sales trainer for both onboarding and continuing education
Manage the on-boarding process for newly hired employees to ensure they are completing all phases of the established curriculum, including proactive management reporting of new hire progress
Oversee the process to create, coordinate, update and maintain content for the training repository to assure that all information is current and readily accessible
Facilitate more complex individual and team system training classes, as needed
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with various lines of business and/or subject matter experts to ensure training is appropriately supporting the business objectives
Lead the development of communication plans for training and development
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Intermediate knowledge of training methodology, adult learning principles and training facilitation technologies
Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint and similar tools
Intermediate knowledge of various multimedia technologies utilized in training content development
Strong presentation skills
Ability to speak in public setting and at ease moderating groups
Ability to facilitate training via classroom and via webinar
Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and meet Commerce Bank's driving record criteria; ongoing employment may be contingent upon meeting all driving requirements
Ability to travel as necessary
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
4+ years training experience required
