Your Contribution


Our Logistics Leader is responsible for overseeing the logistics operations within the manufacturing plant. This role requires close collaboration with multiple logistics professionals across various shifts and coordination with shift supervisors and logistics teams. The Logistics Leader ensures that logistics processes run efficiently, meets operational goals, and drives continuous improvement within the plant's logistics functions.


  • Direct and monitor daily activities to ensure tasks are completed on time and to MAHLE standard.

  • Proficiency in MAHLE-specific systems, such as SAP S/4HANA.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve safety, utilizing principles from the Toyota Production System (TPS) and Lean Manufacturing.

  • Train and develop logistics team members on MAHLE's specialized processes and technology (MPS).

  • Implementation of the MORE launch of S/4HANA for both business segments and the warehouse organization requiring specific knowledge for MAHLE products and system.

  • Communicate daily with shift supervisors to review operational challenges, resolve issues, and ensure coordination across all logistics functions.

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on logistics operations and performance to senior management.

  • Evaluate benefitsper domain on process level with plant controller and RPS on demand.

  • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to improve productivity.

  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards.

  • Assist in building a sustainable, lean, operation capable of not only supporting the company's tremendous projected growth but also driving it.

  • Analyze data and reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Resolve escalated issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with customer service teams and able to understand all EDI requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities


  • This position will have 3-5 direct reports (Logistics Supervisors on various shifts).

  • Overall responsible for 50-70 logistics team members.

Your Experience and Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to resolve operational challenges.

  • Strong working knowledge of logistics operations, inventory management, and SAP systems (preferably S4/HANA).
