Location: Kankakee, IL

Salary: $110,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
The Judge Group is seeking a Production Manager with food manufacturing experience in the Kankakee, IL area.



COMPENSATION: 110k to 120k


LOCATION: This is an onsite position (Not hybrid or Remote) in the Kankakee, IL area


RELOCATION: A relo stipend for somewhat local candidates is available for the right candidate



MUST HAVE: 5+ years of food manufacturing experience


MUST HAVE: Strong inventory management experience


MUST BE: A US Citizen or a Green Card holder



RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Manage budgets (Production, Sanitation, Material, Labor, Yield, Labor, Supplies, Safety, GMP & Food Safety, etc)

- Oversee quality (Products, Packaging, Sanitation)

- Oversee all phases of the manufacturing process SOP's, Specifications, Budgets

- Oversee ERP and Payroll information is maintained and accurate

- Lead the continuous improvement efforts

- Implement new manufacturing technologies to enhance quality & drive down costs & support strategic direction for future product & process improvements within manufacturing.

- Collaborate on annual budget & monthly forecast (Budget v Actual)

- Oversee Maintenance management

- Update training manual

- Prepare reports

- Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


- College degree preferred

- 5+ years of food manufacturing experience
