As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Frontend development, you'll be a critical part of Walmart's digital transformation, developing cutting-edge, accessible, and responsive web applications that serve over 2 million associates across the globe.

What You'll Do:




  • Build and maintain intuitive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS.






  • Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless user journeys powered by GraphQL and REST APIs.






  • Ensure code quality and maintainability with ESLint, Prettier, and adherence to modern design patterns.






  • Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.






  • Write robust unit and E2E tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.






  • Contribute to the evolution of Walmart's design system and UI component libraries.






  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions with a focus on frontend excellence.





What You'll Bring:






  • 5+ years of experience building responsive and scalable web applications.






  • Deep expertise in React and TypeScript,






  • Solid experience integrating with GraphQL and REST APIs, including performance tuning and caching strategies.






  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Webpack, and version control systems like Git.






  • Proficiency in frontend testing frameworks and strong debugging skills.






  • A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.






  • Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.






  • High standards for code quality, accessibility, and user-centered design.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
