Job Responsibilities:





Location: Victor, Iowa




Summary: The Production Material Handler will support manufacturing by safely and efficiently operating a fork lift to move material and complete required documentation in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.



Job Responsibilities: The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned and required.

• Safely operate fork lift to load and unload trailers and to move material as needed


• Ensure equipment is in safe, working order by completing daily inspection following checklist guidelines. Immediately reports concerns with equipment


• Complete preventative maintenance on equipment as required


• Complete documentation as necessary to support correct inventory levels


• Verify product prior to shipment to ensure correct product and quantity is shipped


• Report all incidents/near misses to Supervisor


• Follow and support Magna Body & Chassis Iowa's and Magna's operating principles


• Support efforts to achieve department and plant goals on Employee Opinion Survey


• Support plant safety initiatives and always works within safety guidelines

Supervisory Responsibilities: None



Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to obtain fork lift certification within first 30 days


• Attention to detail a must to complete paperwork accurately


• Ability to multi-task continuously to manage line products

Physical Demands: As identified on the Material Handler - Production functional job description



Environmental Conditions: Normal factory environment as well as external conditions
