Engineer Senior




Location: Ideal candidates will live or be willing to relocate to within 50 miles of of our Pulse Point location in Seattle, WA.



Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm


The Engineer Senior supports development on medium to large complex customer technology platforms or architectures.



How you will make an impact:



  • Maintains active relationships with internal and/or external stakeholder to develop business requirements.


  • Analyzes and classifies complex change request and identifies and documents possible system code enhancements.


  • Demonstrates knowledge of industry trends, our products and infrastructure.


  • Collaborates with engineers and graphic designers, analyzes and classifies complex change request and reviews and evaluates possible enhancements.


  • Works with development team to develop and define application scope and objectives and prepare functional and/or technical specifications.


  • Analyzes and evaluates detailed business and technical requirements.


  • Understands the product and analytics and drive requirements that take into account stakeholders needs. Identifies problems/risks.


  • Codes and maintains complex components of information systems.


  • Mentors others on coding standards and performs code reviews.


  • Reviews test cases and advises QA on adjacent code/regression impact.


  • Develops and performs system testing and fixes defects identified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validate results.


  • Aids in integrating activities with other IT departments for successful implementation and support of project efforts.


  • Provides on call support and monitors the system and identifies system deficiencies.


  • Root cause analysis of any production issue. Identifying code bug, fixing code, and performing configuration changes.


  • Documenting known issue and resolution and efficiently resolve repeating error and issues.


  • Administering and monitoring Informatica platform.


  • Maintenance of servers, tasks including server patching & upgrades, storage, security scans and remediation, firewall changes, system health, connection configuration, artifacts deployments, triaging issues across SIT/UAT and production, grant and revoke access, import/export schemas and tables, set up SSH keys.





Minimum Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.



Additional Requirements:



  • Five (5) years in any occupation with software engineering experience.


  • Five (5) years in any occupation with software engineering experience must include: Experience in Informatica Power Center (Repository Manager, Designer, Server Manager, Work Flow Monitor, Work Flow Manager, ILM).


  • Experience in Informatica Data transformation.


  • Experience in Informatica Managed file transfer.


  • Experience in Informatica Data Exchange.


  • Experience in Oracle, SQL, Db2 databases and Working with EDI files.





ALTERNATE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Software Engineering and three (3) years of experience in any occupation with software engineering experience. Must have skills listed above.


For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $190,486 - $190,486
