Job Description:

As a UX/UI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing beautiful, usable web pages and applications. You will conceptualize digital solutions to customer and business problems and bring them to life through high-fidelity prototypes, before ultimately building the frontend and pairing with Software Engineers to release your work into the world. From there, you will team up with our Analysts to evaluate the effectiveness of your designs through real user feedback to test, iterate, and continuously improve experiences. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely and communicating daily with stakeholders, researchers, copywriters, illustrators, photographers, and field experts.

• 7+ years of experience designing and building websites for clients.
  
  


• Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, and advanced design principles.
  
  


• Experience with Responsive Web Design methodologies.
  
  


• Proficient in JavaScript, SASS, and/or Canvas, as well as Agile software development, with working knowledge of PHP.
  
  

About The Role:



As a UX/UI Engineer, you'll design clean, user-friendly web pages and applications that solve real customer and business challenges. You'll take ideas from concept to high-fidelity prototypes, then build the frontend and work alongside Software Engineers to bring them to life. Once your designs are out in the world, you'll collaborate with Analysts to gather user feedback, test, iterate, and keep improving experiences. This role is all about teamwork-you'll be working closely with stakeholders, researchers, copywriters, illustrators, photographers, and field experts every day to create the best possible digital experiences.


Here's a snapshot of what you'd be doing:

• Working closely with designers to turn ideas into polished designs and high-fidelity prototypes.
  
  


• Teaming up with developers to build accessible, responsive frontends using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript-getting everything production-ready.
  
  


• Creating and testing new experiences, making continuous improvements based on what works best for users.
  
  


• Partnering with product owners and stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.
  
  


• Sketching out and presenting user-friendly solutions through workflows and wireframes, gathering feedback and refining designs before they go live.
  
  


• Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to assess how products are performing, digging into analytics and user data to find ways to make them even better.
  
  


• Pitching in wherever needed (excluding licensed tasks) to help foster a supportive and collaborative team culture.
