Welcome to Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort, soon to be reimagined as The Sunny-a fresh, vibrant destination in Sunny Isles Beach. As we prepare for this exciting transformation, we are looking for Pool Servers. As a Pool Server, you will play a key role in providing an outstanding dining experience. Your attention to detail, warm personality, and efficiency will help create memorable moments for our guests.


The future Sunny, in the heart of Sunny Isles Beach, is poised to redefine the beach getaway experience, offering a perfect blend of rich history and unparalleled amenities. The resort will feature 339 spacious guest rooms, an eclectic private art collection, six food and beverage outlets, a fitness center, spa & salon, oceanfront pool with tiki bar and fire pits, beach club, and over 22,000 square feet of event space, including a unique oceanfront terrace.

Responsibilities




What you will be doing:

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit.


• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system.


• Serve food and beverages promptly, following service standards.


• Offer menu recommendations and answer guest inquiries.


• Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service stations.


• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for seamless service.


• Handle payments and process transactions accurately.


• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications




What you bring to the table:

• Previous serving experience in a restaurant or hotel setting preferred.


• Strong customer service and communication skills.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


• Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus.


• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.


• Ability to stand, walk, and lift trays for extended periods.


• Work in a multitude of temperatures from hot to cold.
