Imagine working at the heart of the rail and transportation world, where trains, schedules, and major projects must run smoothly. Thats where this Project Coordinator role comes in: part problem-solver, part data specialist, and part organizer of diverse tasks. In this role, youll be juggling Procore data entry and uploads while keeping an eagle eye on construction progress (think daily bulletins). Youll also be pulling together budgets, schedules, payment requests, and ensuring that DBE/Buy America requirements are on track.
This is a long-term, full-time, on-site position located in Washington DC.
Responsibilities
Maintain project data and information in the clients project management software system (Procore).
Update data in the Procore system through direct input of contract related data or up-loading data files.
Monitor daily activities and report on job progress of field construction, operational impacts, escort needs and field discrepancies.
Coordinate scopes of work and work packages, develop construction schedules, and prepare supporting correspondence for Project Manager's and/or Task Manager's approval.
Ensure compliance of procedures identified in the Project Implementation Manual, and provide project staff with guidance on the use and application of Procore.
Prepare punch lists at the completion of contract milestones and inspection for completion of work.
Assist with preparation of project status reports to track progress and monitor the project schedule, budget, and staffing plan.
Develop and update estimates, budgets, cashflows, accruals, etc. and assist with other financial planning/reporting tasks.
Verify accuracy of contractor payment requests, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Buy America requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6+ years' experience in project management and/or construction management, with at least one (1) year in the rail and/or transportation industry.
Demonstrated experience with large, complex projects.
Strong knowledge of principles and practices of project management and contract administration.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365/Suite (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification (through PMI).
Compensation Details
The salary range listed for this role is $60k-$100k/yr ($30-$50/hr.) The final salary offered is based on multiple factors and is thoughtfully aligned with each candidates level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications/licenses that have been obtained, etc.
