The Security Architect -Application Security is a specialized architect working primarily on artificial intelligence security projects, providing advice from an application security perspective.
Architect and design security architectures to ensure strong security posture, compliance with regulations, and safeguard of customer data. Develop information security policy and risk guidelines, including disaster recovery, database protection, and software development. Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or related technical field
7+ years experience in an IT security or related fields
Experience with more than one of the following: Network Security, Web Application Security, Database, Infrastructure, Cloud Technologies and Application Development
Any Empty
A base level of understanding for most of the following: IAM, Single Sign On, Multi-Factor Authentication, Least Privilege, Firewalls, Directory Servers, OAuth, SAML Federation, Compliance, PCI, HIPAA, SOX, Privacy (PI), NIST, Azure Cloud, Encryption
Experience with the common languages (e.g., Perl, Python, Ruby, shell scripting)
Proven ability to design and build scalable, high volume, and low latency applications
Knowledge of network and web related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, BGP and other routing protocols)

Master's Degree in computer science, information systems, or related technical field
Understanding of AI/ML technologies and techniques as of 2025
A background in application security at the architect or senior engineer level (7-10 years of experience)
Previous experience in an advisory or consulting role
Conversant in one of the following application languages: Java, JavaScript, Go/Golang, Python
Participate in application and infrastructure projects to provide security guidance
Review and approve application and infrastructure security architectures
Create security principals as needed for application and infrastructure security
Collaborate internally to create network, account, and infrastructure security requirements
Draft Security policies, standards, and procedures for the enterprise in alignment with compliance and risk
Work with internal audit team to review and evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of security controls
Review security technologies tools and services and make recommendations to the broader security team
Provide security architecture guidance to teammates and leadership
Lead medium to large security architecture initiatives
Mentor other security architects on architecture, processes, procedures, and policies
