Salary: $120,000.00 USD Annually - $145,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
The Judge Group is seeking a Controller with food manufacturing experience in the Manteno, IL area.


COMPENSATION: $120,000 to $145,000


LOCATION: This is an onsite position (Not hybrid or Remote) in the Manteno, IL area


RELOCATION: A small relo stipend for local relocation candidates


MUST HAVE: Bachelors Degree (Accounting, Business, Finance, etc)


MUST HAVE: 5+ years of broad Accounting Management experience


MUST HAVE: - 2+ Costing Experience in some sort of manufacturing environment


MUST BE: A US Citizen or a Green Card holder


RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Overseeing all financial aspects of the plant operations and report to the CFO


- Ensures accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis


- Financial reporting (Month and Quarter-end and year-end closing


- Prepare financial statements to comply with corporate standards and regulations


- Adhere to internal controls


- Develop and monitor annual budgets


- Identify key variances


- Analyze production costs, variances, and inventory valuations


- Reduce waste


- Monitor KPIs (key performance indicators)


- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement


- Support compliance with regulations


- Manage the plant's finance team


- Ensure SOX compliance


- Mitigate financial risks
- Participates in the annual financial review


- Oversee capital projects


REQUIREMENTS:


- Bachelors Degree (Accounting, Business, Finance, etc)


- 5+ years of broad Accounting Management experience


- 2+ Costing Experience in some sort of manufacturing environment


- Cost accounting and inventory management experience


- ERP and advanced Excel skills


- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) knowledge
