Scope of Position
The Department of Marketing, Communications and Digital Strategy is responsible for the overall brand management and communications and marketing activities of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC - James), and the College of Medicine. This senior marketing consultant position sits within the Growth Marketing and Reputation Strategy Team and supports the strategic goals of Team Buckeye and Pelotonia, as well as some James Development initiatives at the OSUCCC - James.
Position Summary
The Senior Marketing Consultant is a marketing strategist responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring communication and marketing initiatives to support assigned areas. This role involves creating and executing marketing and communications programs to align with the strategic and financial objectives for Team Buckeye and Pelotonia, as well as some development initiatives within the OSUCCC - James, the medical center and the university.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent collaborator capable of building and maintaining relationships both with clients and within the department. They must manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to constant change, and provide innovative solutions to leverage owned and paid media to enhance engagement, participation and recognition of Team Buckeye and Pelotonia.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related area. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in marketing and project management.
