To support our continued growth and strategic federal contract pursuits, we are seeking a Director of Strategic Growth to lead competitive positioning, orchestrate high-value contract wins, and enhance Technatomy’s presence across the VA, HHS, and other federal agencies.

As the Director of Strategic Growth, you will play a critical leadership role to help identify, qualify, and capture high-value federal contracts around Technatomy’s core competencies. In this role, you will be responsible for developing strategic capture strategies, building relationships with key federal and industry stakeholders, leading competitive analysis, and managing/providing high-level oversight over full lifecycle capture and partner development and relationship management efforts. As a core member of Technatomy’s management team, you will have a direct impact on the company’s growth trajectory, driving the execution of high-probability pursuits that align with our mission to modernize federal IT.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Capture Strategy & Opportunity Qualification


  • Develop and implement structured capture strategies to pursue the highest-win probability opportunities.

  • Identify, qualify, and track federal contract opportunities across target agencies, particularly those with health IT missions.

  • Engage directly with government stakeholders, acquisition stakeholders, and agency leadership to shape early-stage requirements.

  • Lead pre-RFP intelligence gathering to position Technatomy solutions prior to release of solicitations.

Competitive Positioning & Market Differentiation


  • Conduct competitive intelligence, including incumbent assessments, pricing trends, and technical differentiators.

  • Develop compelling win themes and strategies that highlight Technatomy’s expertise in low-code, intelligent automation, and data management, with a focus on health IT modernization.

  • Monitor federal procurement trends, agency IT modernization roadmaps, and emerging acquisition vehicles.

Strategic Partnering & Teaming


  • Identify and establish strategic teaming agreements with both large systems integrators and specialized small businesses to enhance Technatomy's ability to compete and win federal contracts.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners to form winning teams for complex federal opportunities.

  • Identify and leverage subcontracting agreements to expand Technatomy’s federal contracting footprint.

Strategic Growth Planning, Execution & Operational Program Support


  • Support multi-faceted operational programs as required to ensure the seamless execution of federal contracts and initiatives.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to optimize operational strategies, ensuring seamless alignment with growth initiatives and corporate objectives.

  • Support the design and execution of forward-thinking growth strategies that drive Technatomy’s federal market expansion, with a particular emphasis on health IT innovation and strategic positioning.

  • Help support business development actiivties by assessing emerging trends, agency needs, and evolving government IT modernization requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure business development efforts align with corporate goals and financial targets.

  • Provide leadership and insights to enhance Technatomy’s positioning within the federal contracting space.

Proposal Leadership & Execution


  • Lead and provide managerial oversight over capture planning and execution efforts for large federal IT contract pursuits.

  • Oversee and support the proposal development process, ensuring alignment with agency mission priorities and evaluation criteria.

  • Drive structured color team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold) to produce high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals.

  • Develop agency-specific proposal strategies that emphasize Technatomy’s strengths in IT modernization.

Post-Award Growth & Customer Relationship Management


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with federal contracting officers, program managers, and IT leadership at VA, HHS, DHS, and other agencies, with a focus on health IT initiatives.

  • Support seamless transitions from contract award to execution, ensuring Technatomy’s program teams exceed performance expectations.

  • Drive recompete strategies, proactively identifying follow-on opportunities, contract expansions, and potential sole-source awards.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

·        15+ years of extensive professional knowledge with progressive leadership experience.

·        Knowledge and experience in managing multiple contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.)

·        Proven track record of leading and securing federal contracts valued at $50M+ in digital modernization, cloud, low-code, or intelligent automation.

·        Deep expertise in federal procurement processes, including FAR, agency-specific acquisition strategies, and contract vehicles.

·        Strong industry relationships with VA, HHS, DHS, and civilian agency IT leadership, with a focus on health IT programs.

·        Hands-on experience with GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS.gov, and other federal procurement tools.

·        Demonstrated ability to shape RFPs and influence acquisition strategies before release.

·        Exceptional ability to develop win themes, competitive positioning strategies, and compelling proposals.

·        Strong financial acumen with experience in cost modeling.

·        Experience leading cross-functional teams, including proposal managers, solution architects, and pricing analysts.

·        Experience with effective customer engagement to maintain and develop accounts

·        Proven experience to effectively engage a diverse workforce of employees and subcontractors for effective and optimized resource utilization

·        Excellent communication and executive presentation skills—comfortable engaging with C-level executives and federal leadership.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

·        Prior VA/HHS contracting experience a plus

EDUCATION:

·        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.

CLEARANCE: 

·        Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
