Area of Accountability

• Understand the current capabilities of Hendrickson with regards to data analysis
  

• Improve Hendrickson's data analysis and prediction capabilities
  

• Implement any improvements, for use in the business
  

Major Responsibilities (may vary depending on project):

• Understand and document current processes around data ingestion and synthesis of our current forecasting system
  

• Investigating advanced methodologies to improve forecasting, and determine with the team which one(s) are worth pursuing
  

• Validate selected methodologies by using historical data and 'predicting' past forecasts and comparing them to actual
  

• Once an acceptable methodology is selected, take steps to roll it out to the business
  
• - All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Enrolled student working towards a Bachelor's Degree in ComputerScience, IT, data analytics, artificial intelligence, or related field.
  

• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
  

• Must be able to commit to full-time (40-hours).
  

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  

• Excellent PC skills and tech familiarity.
  

• Familiarity with data and or AI tools (SQL, PowerBI, Python, Tensorflow)
  

• An understanding of time series data, and forecasting
