The Quality Supervisor will supervise and direct the quality team and will oversee the company’s QMS ensuring developing standards and monitoring compliance with ISO 9001 in the manufacturing process. The Quality Supervisor provides quality assurance support in product manufacturing to ensure the product and process meet ISO 9001 compliance requirements, company production standards and meets customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
Supervise, direct, and train quality team.
Set and maintain product quality standards and parameters.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable regulations.
Oversee audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
Issue and resolve CARs (Corrective Action Requests) and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to address and prevent quality issues.
Maintain quality records, including data for QIS software.
Create work instructions and determine measurement methods for customer prints.
Physically measure parts using proper metrology tools to collect dimensional data.
Manage product testing processes, including gauge R&R.
Prepare and submit Level 3 PPAPs for customer approval.
Analyze customer feedback and address quality improvement opportunities.
Provide leadership in maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
Perform additional duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of three years overseeing quality functions in a high-volume, precision CNC machining environment.
Experience with quality control for high-pressure die-cast parts and materials.
ISO 9001 internal audit certification.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Extensive knowledge of or ability to quickly learn RSI production processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with developers, project managers, and customer support.
Proven ability to lead and train staff in quality processes and procedures.
Skilled in fostering a culture of quality, teamwork, and service excellence in a diverse environment.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Adaptable to shifting priorities and evolving work demands.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check, including a nationwide criminal record search.
