About the Role:

As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Lake Shore Cryotronics, you will receive a hands-on design, testing, and manufacturing experience. Guided by an experienced mentor, you will benefit from immersion in both office and lab environments while working with cutting-edge technologies. This position will work onsite out of Westerville, OH, for the Fall of 2025. Relocation assistance is NOT available for our internships. It is preferred that candidates are available full-time (40 hours per week). This internship is PAID.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve the accuracy, precision, and capabilities of advanced instrumentation.
• Analyze new-age materials and semiconductor devices with existing technology.
• Design and test analog and digital circuits.
• Obtain and process high-volume data.
• Research new technologies and materials.
• Assist professional engineers with other various tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in an educational institution (undergraduate bachelor's program preferred) studying Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related field
• GPA of 3.0+
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Preferred experience with printed circuit design and simulation and microprocessor firmware understanding (C or Python is a plus)
• Ability to preserve the confidentiality of information, strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, ability to be both an independent worker and team player
