Our client is seeking a Research Associate - III* in San Francisco, CA.
Role Description
• Manages a project or multiple projects with ServiceNow Engineering teams on development and • Proficiency with CHO cell culture.
• Ability to manage high-throughput cell culture screens (?5,000 clonal cell lines simultaneously)..
• Experience with single cell cloning, hitpick, and scale-up of suspension cell lines.
• Registration of cell lines in Gilead's electronic notebook and documentation of cell growth metrics.
• Onsite role with 100% in-lab focus for cell culture execution.
• Willing to learn hands-on laboratory operations such as molecular biology, shake flask, bench scale bioreactor and novel culture platforms.
• Contribute to written technical reports, Regulatory filing support, present in group meetings, and work cross-functionally to achieve common goals.
Skills & Requirements
• B.S/M.S. and ?10 years, Ph.D. and 0-2 years of experience in a relevant scientific discipline (biology, bioengineering, chemical engineering, biochemical engineering).
• Excellent communication, technical report writing, and presentation skills and aptitude for creative problem solving.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and adhere to timelines.
• Ability to think critically and demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
