Qualifications* you will bring to the table:

  • Associate degree or higher education in computer technology, drafting and design, integrated arts, animation and modeling, or other related programs
  • 5-10 years of job-related experience or more

As a Team Member at Cushing Terrell, you will*

Have these skills and abilities:

  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Auto CADD, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of 3D Building Information Modeling concepts and strategies
  • Proficient with construction documentation, family creation, schedules, view filters, worksets, phasing and design options
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in modeling architectural systems using Revit BIM software

Have these essential functions:

  • Drawing input and set up utilizing office standards and basic design criteria
  • Responsible for the facilitation of BIM related activities, efforts and/or meetings
  • Manage scope of execution by the use of workflows and process supporting the project goals and milestones
  • Perform model coordination and planning with project team stakeholders
  • Develop, modify and review models, plans, details and drawings of architectural design according to established standards and Revit modeling techniques, based on input from the architectural team
  • Prepare construction documents as directed by, architects, engineers, design technicians, or project managers, i.e., plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules
  • Conduct site surveys under the direction of an architect or designer for as-building existing building systems for input into drawings
  • Implement and utilized company best practices for all projects and processes
  • Notify other team members/departments of changes that may affect their drawings

*The majority of the time, a person in this role will be sitting in an office with limited physical requirements. This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist, and reach.

Your pay

The salary for this position is based on the location/s posted. If you are a candidate living outside of (this region/these regions), we still encourage you to apply as salary ranges may differ across states/cities/job markets.

  • Expected Range*: $50,000 to $65,000
  • The position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus

*The actual salary offered for the role will be determined based on various factors including but not limited to; years of experience, certifications, location, level of job-related knowledge, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law).
