We are seeking an experienced DevOps Architect to lead and strategize the design, development, and execution of automated and scalable DevOps processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both development and operations, deep understanding of cloud environments, and expertise in automation, configuration management, and CI/CD practices. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product development, ensure scalability, and enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Design, architect, implement, and support scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant DevOps infrastructure.
Define and establish DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and continuous delivery processes.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to align development, testing, and deployment processes.
Support the migration and modernization of legacy systems to cloud platforms.
Develop, maintain, and monitor infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices for automation and scalability.
Manage and optimize the deployment and configuration of applications in cloud and on-premise environments.
Work with security teams to integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows (DevSecOps).
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to DevOps engineers and development teams.
Establish and ensure adherence to quality standards, processes, and security protocols across all environments.
Implement disaster recovery and business continuity processes for critical infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, testing, and production environments.
Conduct performance tuning, cost optimization, and usage reporting of cloud resources.
Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architect role.
Cloud Platforms: Expertise in Azure Cloud
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform or Ansible.
CI/CD Tools: Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Github Actions, or similar tools.
Containers: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration of containerized applications.
Automation & Scripting: Strong skills in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Monitoring & Logging: Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, or similar.
Version Control: Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
Security: Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including DevSecOps processes.
Agile: Experience with agile and DevOps methodologies, principles, and practices.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and manage project timelines.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices.
Familiarity with network and security architecture in cloud environments.
Certifications as an Azure DevOps Engineer preferred.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
