Location: Birmingham, AL

Salary: $130,000.00 USD Annually - $140,000.00 USD Annually

Title: Production Manager


Supervisor's Title: Operations Manager


Reports: 7


Coordinate pulping activities to ensure safe, productive operations. Lead in producing high-quality pulp while managing costs and adhering to environmental guidelines.


Responsibilities:


SAFETY:


Enforce safety policies.


Conduct safety audits and meetings.


Provide training and tools for safe task completion.


Audit permits and perform housekeeping audits.


Hold Safety Commitment meetings.


ENVIRONMENTAL:


Maintain equipment within environmental parameters.


Report and resolve permit deviations.


Hold Environmental Commitment meetings.


PRODUCTION:


Coordinate daily production activities.


Guide and participate in maintenance activities.


Oversee work during shutdowns.


Approve/deny work requests.


Control costs and lead continuous improvement.


Engage in budgeting and identify capital needs.


Conduct performance reviews.


Troubleshoot operational issues.


Collaborate on scheduling and training.


Experience:


4-year Engineering degree preferred.


10 years in pulping operations.


Strong communication, analytical, and computer skills.
