ECS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Security (COMSEC) Lead to oversee and manage all aspects of communications security for a National Security client. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in safeguarding sensitive communications, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and leading a team of professionals in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of critical information. As the COMSEC Lead, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and managing COMSEC policies, procedures, and technologies to protect communication systems and data from interception, disruption, and unauthorized access.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop and implement the COMSEC program
• Oversee COMSEC key management and distribution
• Conduct COMSEC training and awareness programs
• Manage COMSEC incidents and breaches
• Liaise with the National Security Agency (NSA), DOE COR or other relevant authorities
• Ensure compliance with CNSSI No. 4005 and other relevant regulations
• COMSEC Lead will be required to attend COMSEC and TACLANE training, post-award
