Job Description:

Are you a data wizard with a passion for designing and developing data pipelines? We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Architect to join our dynamic team on a 12-month contract. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to lead a team towards successful project delivery.
Responsibilities

• Lead and provide thought leadership for the data team .
• Design and develop data pipelines and storage solutions using AWS technologies such as Aurora, DynamoDB, RedShift, S3, Glue, and Lambda.
• Oversee data migration projects, including migrating from Oracle and DB2.
• Implement complex solutions and architectural design patterns across multiple platforms.
• Manage data in AWS and ensure best practices in database management.
• Communicate solution options and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.

Skills

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in designing and developing data pipelines and storage using AWS technologies.
• Proven track record in data migration for large programs.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Proficient in data management within AWS.
• Skilled in data mapping, ETL/ELT frameworks, and streaming data processing.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional AWS services and tools.
• Background in financial services or government agencies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
