Monday through Friday position on first shift



Job Summary:




The psychotherapist provides outpatient psychiatric assessment and treatment. Maintains an independent caseload of patients and EAP clients with diverse psychiatric disorders and psycho-social concerns. Provides psychiatric evaluation of patient's presenting issues. Develops appropriate treatment planning to address patients presenting psychiatric disorder and/or psychosocial issue. Utilizes appropriate treatment approach(s) to resolve patient concerns. Monitors patients progress in treatment and adjust therapy accordingly. Completes all written and electronic documentation following clinic protocol and state certification requirements. Participates in regularly scheduled peer collaboration and consults with psychiatrists, system physicians, and clinic supervisor. Other duties as assigned.



EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:



A minimum of 3,000 hours in psychiatric inpatient or outpatient setting completed within 5 years is required. Experience in a clinical setting as a licensed practicing psychotherapist is preferred.



EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:



Master's degree in Social Work or related field is required.



TRAINING DESCRIPTION:



Specific clinical training in psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluation and assessment is required.



SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:



Critical thinking, ability to review both broad and detailed information coming to relevant conclusions, ability to conceptualize, ability to analyze, ability to identify both short and long term goals, ability to utilize communication tools, such as, but not limited to: computer, telephone, voice mail and fax. Skills in assessment, relationship formation, recommending and evaluating solutions, and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.



LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:



Requires current State of Wisconsin license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); will also consider a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or state licensed Psychologist.

Pay is expected to be between: (expressed as hourly) $27.62 - $47.26. Final compensation is based on experience and will be discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process.
