Job Summary/Basic Function:


What You'll Do - Position Responsibilities:

Teach students (undergraduate or graduate) face-to-face in the classroom and online



Key Competencies:


  • Prepares course syllabi and outcomes

  • Deliver lectures and labs

  • Assign and grade coursework

  • Engage student participation

  • Communicate and interact with students, other faculty, and chair





Physical Requirements:

  • To be on-campus for teaching in-person classes

  • To conduct virtual class meetings in online classes

Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience):





  • B.S. degree in construction, e.g., construction management, construction science and construction technology and other engineering/technology majors related to construction · Minimum industrial experience in the construction industry: 10 years with a B.S. degree, 8 years with an M.S. degree, and 3 years with a Doctorate degree


Preferred Qualifications (Education & Experience):



  • M.S. degree in construction, e.g., construction management, construction science and construction technology and other engineering/technology majors related to construction

  • Previous experience in teaching

  • Professional experience in the US construction industry
