(Contingent upon available funding): 52,000.00 - 75,000.00, Salary Work Schedule: 8-5 Monday-Friday Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Directs and supervises the fiscal affairs of the office of the Associate Vice President for Administration and Finance and corresponding departments. Fiscal affairs includes but is not limited to operational activities common to all AVPAF areas, such as personnel, payroll, administrative support, financial, asset management, budget development, tracking and reporting, account reconciliation and reporting, and charge backs. Incorporates standard accounting rules and practices into the financial operations of the office of the AVPAF and corresponding departments; continuously evaluates the processes and uses professional judgement when implementing change. Acts as the human resource liaison for the departments under the AVPAF. Maintain relationships with directors, HR personnel, and other team members to coordinate open positions, new hires, transfers, etc. through documentation and forms required by the University. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
University Acct II-Two years of related experience.
University Acct III-Five years of related experience. CPA Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Accounting or MBA
