We are committed to advancing patient care through innovative clinical research, and we are seeking a dedicated RN II Research professional to join our Hemophilia Center of Western PA research team.

We are looking for an experienced RN II Research to support clinical research efforts in a comprehensive healthcare and research environment. This role is responsible for coordinating clinical research studies, recruiting research participants, ensuring adherence to protocols, and maintaining regulatory compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in groundbreaking research that advances treatments for hemophilia and other blood disorders.

What to Expect: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 5 days in-person at our clinic located in the Oakland neighborhood (Free Parking on-site!)

As an RN on our Research team, you will get to:


  • Coordinate and execute clinical research studies, including scheduling patient research visits and obtaining informed consent.

  • Perform clinical assessments, brief patient evaluations, and assist with licensed nursing procedures.

  • Collect, process, and store laboratory specimens, including performing venipuncture/phlebotomy as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with study protocols, regulatory guidelines, and internal procedures.

  • Maintain and update research documentation, including case report forms (CRFs), electronic diaries, and study procedure manuals.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of research-related standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Collaborate with sponsoring agencies, pharmaceutical companies, and government organizations, such as the NIH, for study coordination.

  • Attend and present at research meetings, industry-sponsored events, and annual professional development conferences.

Requirements


  • Active Nursing license in the state of PA required .

  • Two years of hands-on Nursing experience required , to include venipuncture/phlebotomy.

  • Minimum one year Research experience required , two years' experience preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred, but not required.
