PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assign and track new hire compliance training
Review and audit records, job descriptions, and other HR processes and update as necessary
Assist with non-production purchase requisition submissions and process tracking
Assist with Educational Reimbursement processing
Benchmark, update, and develop new HR processes, forms and corporate training content
Provide administrative support to Intern Program
Support content development for the HR employee intranet pages
Backup to pulling reporting and data entry within the HCM, including but not limited to Cognos, Learning Management, Core, and WFM modules
Assists with planning and preparation for ILT and CBT training classes across all facilities for hourly and salary employees
Assists with HCM system testing including but not limited to performance, benefit, and LMS modules
Schedules meetings, makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions
Performs other related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Must be competent within a basic digital work environment
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
Experience with UKG beneficial, but not required
0-2 years of current experience in a Human Resources role in a manufacturing or corporate environment
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional customer service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Must be able to handle extremely confidential information
Displays a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
PHYSICAL EFFORT
Sight: must be able to regularly read computer screen, reports, and various documents with detail and clarity to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner, including regular use of adequate close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
Hearing: must be able to regularly hear well enough to communicate
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Location: This position operates between an office and manufacturing plant environment and is often assigned to a specific shift or hours. The Employee must be able to perform job functions in an environment with varying difficult work conditions such as cold, heat, inclement weather, at heights, and/or while exposed to constant/intermittent loud noises
Teamwork: This position will work with others to ensure efficiency in the workplace
Listening Skills: This position will need to understand how to use software properly
Ability to follow instructions: Managers assign tasks and responsibilities, which vary; this position should be able to follow instructions competently
Concentration: This position may perform the same or similar tasks repeatedly, so a strong level of concentration when carrying out these tasks is important for quality control purposes. This role is often fast paced, so being able to maintain focus at all times is important
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Limited travel (10%) between St. Joseph County, Indiana facilities is required
