Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Build or repair all types, sizes, and shapes of jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate various tools.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate tools and equipment.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Good vision and hearing to detect and diagnose issues.
