Manufacturing Maintenance Technician at Overhead Door Corporation in Centralia, Washington

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Build or repair all types, sizes, and shapes of jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate various tools.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate tools and equipment.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Good vision and hearing to detect and diagnose issues.
