Duties & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in processing and administering the company's payroll on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
Verify employee work hours, including regular time, overtime, and other pay adjustments.
Maintain accurate employee payroll records and assist with data entry into the payroll system.
Support the calculation and processing of various deductions, such as taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and provide necessary documentation.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
Generate and review payroll reports for accuracy and completeness.
Assist with year-end processes, including preparing W-2s and other payroll-related forms.
Respond to payroll inquiries from employees, providing clear and timely resolutions.
Support audits and internal control processes related to payroll.
Assist in maintaining and updating payroll policies and procedures.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing or a related role (preferred).
Basic understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and benefits administration.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), with strong Excel skills.
Experience with ADP WFN payroll software is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
