Job Description:

Prime Time Consulting provides clients with expert intelligence analysis services. Our clients include defense contractors, industrial and service corporations, and departments and agencies of the U.S. Federal Government.

We are actively searching for Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist 4, located in Maryland, to support our team. We have varying levels of this position, depending on years of experience and education.

Essential Job Duties

• Apply expertise in computer science, mathematics, and engineering to design, develop, and evaluate algorithms and techniques for solving complex cryptographic and security-related problems.
• Ideal candidate will create and utilize mathematical models and methods to study cryptographic systems, analyze vulnerabilities, and develop solutions to secure sensitive information.
• Additionally, work on high-performance computing projects to optimize cryptographic processes and address security challenges across diverse computing environments.
• Relevant experience must be in a computer science area (i.e. theoretical or applied), designing/developing/using/evaluating mathematic models, methods, and/or techniques (e.g. algorithm or development) to study issues and solve problems, engineering (electrical or computer), and/or high performance computing.

Required Qualifications

• Doctoral degree plus 7 years of relevant experience
• Master's degree with 9 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree with 11 years of relevant experience
• Associates degree with 13 years of relevant experience
• Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming and at least 4 upper-level math classes (Calculus and above)

The pay range for this role is:
195,000 - 225,000 USD per year(PTC - MD)
