We are looking for skilled Flexographic Press Operators with experience in complex printing (more than 8 colors) and narrow web flexographic printing. Candidates should be committed to maintaining high quality standards while working within a collaborative and professional team environment.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
Setup, adjust, maintain, and operate flexographic printing presses.
Ensure proper setup of jobs alongside Press Assistants.
Perform routine maintenance to ensure machine stability and reliability.
Monitor the printing process to maintain optimal print quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve printing-related challenges effectively.
Collaborate with other departments and maintenance teams on projects and validations.
Train team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
Focus on continuous improvement, quality, cycle time, safety, cost reductions, and customer satisfaction.
Comply with established safety procedures, company policies, and core processes.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or GED required.
At least 3 years of Flexographic Printing experience preferred.
Previous experience in the print industry and machinery repair/manufacturing required.
Strong troubleshooting skills for printing-related issues.
Knowledge of plates, stocks, cold foils, hot stamps, screens, inks, and varnishes.
Physical ability to lift 10-50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform bending, stooping, squatting, grasping, and reaching.
Detail-oriented, quality-driven work habits, and the ability to differentiate and reduce color variances.
Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to perform well under deadline constraints and meet quality standards.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
