Job Description:

SCOPE: The job requires planning and implementing all aspects of the FSS program with the goal of meeting or exceeding HUDs
guidelines for enrollment in FSS. The position reports directly to the Director of Housing Choice Voucher Services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include, but are not necessarily limited to:
Ensure services coordination (case management) responsibilities for all FSS participants.
Manage the overall operations and activities of the FSS and Homeownership program.
Ensure compliance with FSS and Homeownership HUD requirements.
Prepare monthly FSS newsletters and assist with preparation of monthly HCV newsletters.
Ensure to identify candidates for HCV Homeownership.
Ensure a minimum number of annual HCV Homeownership closings.
Ensure the monitoring of escrow accounts for all FSS participants monthly.
Ensure staff is promote the FSS program during voucher briefing sessions as needed.
Work with IT and Yardi to further ensure software for FSS program is operational
Responsible in the development and implementation of workshops or other special meetings or events for FSS.
Promote and educate community partners on both the FSS and Homeownership programs through various meetings and events.
Responsible to ensure operating procedures and policies for FSS relevant to changes in HUD regulations and SOPs are revised
accordingly. .
Responsible for increasing enrollment for the FSS program;
Draft and/or edit articles and/or correspondence on behalf of CMHA if needed.
Provide Gold Standard communication to internal and external clients.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with other agencies.
Assist in providing training and guidance relevant to changes in HUD regulations that involve recertifications.
Interview and Hire FSS Staff as needed/
Responsible for maintaining and expanding the support services provided to FSS families either directly by Housing Choice Voucher
or as a collaborative effort with other agencies.
Ensure quarterly file reviews are completed by supervisor
Perform additional duties as assigned.
