Job Description:

Job Summary
Were hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our road crew. Operators will run machinery such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, or compactors to perform road construction, maintenance, or logging road reconstruction. Weekly travel is required, with work MondayFriday at various job sites.

Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment to perform road construction, maintenance, or logging road reconstruction.Ensure safe and effective equipment operation while assessing and adapting to varying terrain and weather conditions.Perform routine equipment inspections to verify fluid levels, safety features (e.g., seat belts, fire extinguishers), and overall performance.Conduct minor repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.Maintain a hazard-free job site and follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.Accurately complete daily timecards for proper hour tracking.Assist with job site operations, including chainsaw operation when necessary.

Qualifications
2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience.Valid drivers license and clean driving record (5 years).Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.Preferred: Class A CDL or equipment certifications.
