Are you a skilled Mainframe engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to develop and test code that meets business strategies and objectives? Join our team as a Development Engineer and work in a dynamic, hybrid environment where your expertise will make a significant impact.
Responsibilities

• Develop and test code to deliver functionality that aligns with business objectives.
• Implement features from the product backlog and ensure they meet business needs.
• Size user stories and conduct unit tests, create automated test scripts, and execute all testing-related tasks.
• Test deliverables against user story acceptance tests and execute necessary project documentation.
• Collaborate closely with other teams, including infrastructure and security partners.
• Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation.

Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in an engineering role.
• 1-3 years of experience in agile development.
• Proficiency with CA7 scheduler and COBOL Batch.
• Experience in conducting system analysis and working with MF technologies such as Cobol, DB2, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and GDG files.

Preferred Skills

• Scrum certification.
• Experience with test-driven development and software test automation.
• Strong teamwork skills and experience with web services.
