Position Description:

The concrete mixer driver will be responsible for hauling and delivering concrete to customers safely and efficiently. A valid CDL Class B license is required.

Essential Functions:

The following list is intended to be exemplary of the physical demands of the position, however it is not exhaustive of all day-to-day functions. The incumbent will be required to perform any or all of the following in a given day or week:

• Adheres to all safety rules and works safely on all jobs.
• Ability to work with other members of the crew and communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report immediately to dispatcher any damage to the equipment or safety hazards or accidents.
• Must be able to consistently lift and/or manipulate with push/pull force +/- 50 pounds.
• Flexibility regarding schedule working extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays when business needs dictate.
• Ability to think independently, assess situations and make safe choices based on jobsite observations/ situations is critical
• Proper mixing of the concrete, accurate slump production
• Strong communication with dispatchers is critical
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior concrete mixer experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and ability to pass a physical and drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver’s licenses Class B.
• ?Must possess sound judgment ability, and ability to analyze MSDS sheets.
