Manager, Mammography at OB-GYN Associates, PC in CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa

Job Description:

OB/GYN Associates, P.C. is accepting applications for Manager, Mammography Department. 

This position reports to the Practice Administrator and currently supervises 5-7 employees.  The Mammography Department provide state-of-the art mammography including ABUS and DEXA.  This position will manage all aspects of the department including providing direct patient care.   

Duties:

• Responsible for management and performance of staff, volume controlled schedules, and department performance including, safety metrics, manage patient feedback,  equipment testing and monitoring, quality controls, adherence to ACR, FDA/MQSA accreditations, regulations and reporting.    
• Maintains open and positive communication with staff, physicians and other departments (internal)  and outside healthcare agencies. 
• The position will be responsible for keeping up to date on current trends, new equipment/procedures and EHR integration and enhancements.

Requirements: 

• This position requires completion from an approved training program in Radiologic Technology and registered by the ARRT and Mammography Certification in active status. 
• Must be licensed in the State of Iowa. 
• Five years of mammography experience, management experience preferred. 
• Must posses an expanded knowledge of current clinical and specialized patient care concepts within Mammography.
