The Sr. Sales Analyst, Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) provides critical commercial support to GSA Account Directors (AD). The incumbent will be expected to be the primary commercial support resource for an assigned GSA AD, enabling them to focus on overall account strategy and customer-facing engagements.
As a key support function for the GSA sellers, this position requires significant collaboration across all business functions across Vertiv. Key areas of focus include responsibility for CPQ quotations, order entry, order tracking, customer reporting requirements, product applications assistance, pipeline maintenance, and coordination with project management and field services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong collaboration with the GSA Sales Organization including Sr. Executives, business leaders, and subject-matter-experts.
Support end to end management of commercial transactions from initial quotation support to final coordination of customer start up services in collaboration with key execution team resources.
Intermediary support for product applications, researching and obtaining product related details necessary to support Account Director and Customer inquiries
Timely, error free entry of orders, ensuring proper utilization of CPQ tools and resources.
Quotations / opportunity management
Initiate commercial quotes by setting up OSC opportunity, and creating CPQ quotation based upon inputs from Account Directors.
Maintain quotation and proposal revisions
Assist AD with DOP pricing requests by submitting and following up
Order entry
Complete CPQ order entry
Upload customer documentation into CPQ
Liaise with Vertiv factory order entry teams
Order management & tracking
Monitor factory acknowledgement dates
Communicate order status and keep Account Directors informed of any changes
Manage and distribute customer specified reports which may include
Manual order status reports
Online portals / e Commerce tools
Where required ensure technical documents as required are uploaded to CPQ.
Is comfortable dealing externally with customers as well as internal stakeholders.
Prepares and delivers customer specified reporting either manually or via customer e commerce portals
Technical support
Broad product level knowledge to enable effective use of CPQ
Gains understanding of the Vertiv org structure by line of business
Able to understand and seek out application related questions on behalf of AD to support quote and proposal generation.
Coordination with project management and services organization
Supports project management team with regular updates on order and delivery status
Coordinates for shipping shortages and damages as required
Assists with coordination of startup requirements to field services organization.
Commercial Support
Provides an interface into tax department as needed to gather all necessary tax exemption information
Assists accounts payable to resolve any order related collections issues
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience in a customer service-related role.
Strong technical acumen, ability to understand product applications
PC Tools Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Oracle Based CRM and Order Management Systems
Exceptional communication skills and ability to build diverse relationships within a matrix organization.
Bachelors' Degree in Business, Engineering or Technology/Operations is desirable.
