We are seeking a strategic Product Manager interested in the building materials industry, specifically within bath and shower hardware product category. This is a critical leadership role driving innovation, market positioning, and commercial success in a dynamic corporate ecosystem.


Strategic Impact:
The ideal candidate will drive transformative innovation in shower hardware, balancing aesthetic design, technological advancement, and market responsiveness. You will be responsible for positioning our product line as the industry benchmark for performance, design, and user experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Define and execute comprehensive product strategy for high-performance shower hardware product lines.

  • Conduct deep market research to identify emerging trends in bathroom design, technology, while understanding customer and consumer preferences.

  • Work closely with our customer partners listening to their wants and needs,  and translating into innovative market solutions.

  • Develop and maintain detailed product roadmaps that balance innovation, manufacturability, and market demand.

  • Lead cross-functional teams including design, engineering, manufacturing, marketing and sales to bring cutting-edge shower hardware solutions to market.

  • Perform competitive analysis and translate insights into ideation strategies and actionable product development strategies.

  • Program Management capabilities leading the full product lifecycle from conceptualization through launch and post-market performance evaluation.

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, including market share, revenue, vitality indexes and customer satisfaction metrics.


REQUIREMENTS:



  • 7 plus years of progressive product management experience in building materials or related industries preferred.

  • Must have experience in managing physical products. Software/Hardware will NOT be considered.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching innovative products.

  • Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, material sciences, and design engineering.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling market narratives

  • Expert-level proficiency in product development methodologies (Agile, Stage-Gate).

  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in market research and data-driven decision making.


Technical Competencies



  • Proficiency in market analysis and competitive intelligence platforms

  • Understanding of sustainability trends and performance engineering

  • Data-driven personality with strong interpersonal skills and analytical capabilities

  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of strategic marketing including segmentation, pricing, and competitive analysis

  • Demonstrate success of consistent sales & margin growth developing market solutions

  • Familiarity with building codes and industry standards (ANSI, ADA, ICC) is an asset
