The Financial Analyst provides financial analysis to assist management in making decisions regarding strategic planning, profitability, and cash flow. This position will support Ad hoc reporting, budget preparation, forecasting, variance analysis, and other finance-related projects as assigned by senior leadership. Key deliverables will be to create, govern, maintain, or lead development of data visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, or develop data visualization tools
Assist with annual operating plan/budget process, including gathering and analyzing data for forecasts and budgets, preparing reports, and presentations
Provide regular financial updates to management on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, and profits
Conduct variance analyses to understand differences between actual, forecasted, and budgeted results
Identify trends or issues requiring attention and communicate them effectively to appropriate stakeholders
Prepare specialized financial reports and documents, including income and cash flow statements
Reconciliation between general ledger and supporting databases or data visualization tools
Respond to queries from internal and external auditors, providing detailed information related to specific financial activities
Maintains quarterly industry analysis of peer companies and is able to summarize key points from earnings calls
Minimum Requirement
Requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred
Critical Skills
Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis
Experience with general ledger software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel, Access, QuickBooks)
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization tools are highly desired
Experience in data querying, analyzing, and summary from large datasets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
Strong organizational abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
