Core Responsibilities:



  • Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. 

  • Prepare food items using various methods (grilling, frying, sautéing, etc.) according to recipes and standards. 

  • Ensure dishes meet the Belle’s standards for taste and quality. 

  • Follow recipes and portion control accurately. 

  • Ensure the freshness of ingredients. 

  • Arranging and garnishing food & plates prior to be delivered to guests.

  • Reporting any low product or out of stock items on communication board and verbally making chef aware.


Station Management:



  • Manage your assigned station, by preparing ingredients needed to execute daily menu.  

  • Set up and clean your station according to Belle’s expectations. 

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.


Food Safety & Sanitation:



  • Thoroughly understand food safety and sanitation procedures. 

  • Comply with all applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards. 

  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to prevent contamination. 

  • Ensure proper food preparation and cooking temperatures. 


 


Teamwork & Communication:



  • Work effectively as part of a kitchen team. 

  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with other kitchen staff. 

  • Follow instructions and directions from chefs and managers. 

  • Anticipate the needs of the chefs and servers

  • Foster a positive work environment
