Reporting to the VP of Operations, the EPO Project Manager will improve project delivery, enhance organizational efficiency, and optimize resource allocation through collaborative partnering and effective project management practices to maximize ROI.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee Enterprise level projects and programs within Loparex with a focus on establishing a \"One Loparex\" standard and approach
Establish clear statements of work (SOW) and scope for initiatives
Provide management tools, project portfolio management
Project Initiation and Selection: Documented stage gate process for project approval and prioritization
Project Planning and Execution: Standardized project management processes, tools, and templates as well as expectations around their use; plan and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks
Risk and Issue Management: Coordination of project teams including but not limited to cadenced meetings, distribution of ownership, assigning actions; monitor task completion status to Identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans
Project Scope Change Control: Change request evaluation for proposed expansion of project scope
Documentation of out-of-scope OFIs for consideration under alternative project scopes
Identification of future state process owners for hand off on completion of initiatives
Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate with Data Analytics (IT), EPO, and Operations (among others) to assure accuracy and visibility of data to drive improvement actions
JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree, preferred
Three (3) plus years of previous project management experience, preferred
Professional Project Manager (PMP) certification, preferred
Ability to develop strong relationships with internal customers and manage indirectly
Data presentation and visualization skills
Ability to communicate effectively with production employees, management and other departments
Proficient in using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficient use of a project management tool (i.e. SmartSheet, Microsoft Project)
Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
